My husband doesn’t get it!
We just got home from having dinner out. We didn’t have time to have dessert because I still have some work to do, so I head into the kitchen for a bowl of ice cream. And this is how it goes…
Tom: “I can’t believe you did that!”
Me: “Did what?”
Tom: “Got a bowl and spoon for yourself and never asked if I wanted any!”
Me: “Well… for the last two months you’ve been blaming me for making it hard for you to stick with your diet.”
Tom: “I’m allowed to change my mind.”
Me: “No… you’re not… you’re not a woman.”
Needless to say, my husband is refusing to speak to me at the moment…
